30-Day Grace Period: After initiating a deletion request, there will be a 30-day grace period. During this time, the account remains inactive, and all personal data associated with the account will be inaccessible. This grace period serves as a safety net for users in case they change their mind or if the deletion request was made in error. Users can contact our support team within these 30 days to restore their account.

Post Grace Period: If no action is taken by the user during the 30-day grace period, all personal data associated with the account will be permanently removed from our systems in compliance with the GDPR. However, for business intelligence, audit, and other legitimate purposes, we might retain anonymized or aggregated data, which cannot be used to identify individuals.

Data Use During Grace Period: It’s worth noting that during the 30-day grace period, Uncanny will not use the personal data associated with the account for any promotional or marketing purposes. The data remains sealed and is only retained to facilitate potential account recovery.

Our Policy Concerning Children

General Stance: Uncanny recognizes the importance of safeguarding the privacy of children. Our services are designed primarily for professional use and are intended for individuals who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

Professional Tool Directed at Adults: Uncanny’s platform is crafted as a professional tool, primarily directed towards adults and businesses. While we acknowledge and celebrate young developers, including those in our team who started early many years ago, it’s vital to emphasize that younger individuals below the age of 18 wishing to utilize Uncanny should do so with the explicit consent and supervision of their parents or guardians. Any agreements or terms of service set up for such users should be understood and accepted by their parents or guardians on their behalf.

GDPR (European Union): In line with the General Data Protection Regulation, we do not process the data of children under 16 without the explicit consent of their guardians. In the event an account is forced to be closed due to it belonging to a minor, there will be a 30 day grace period during which the users will be able to download their data & files – after that it will be deleted.
